This public lecture and workshop are presented by Professor Roman Gouzman and aim to introduce the participants with the Feuerstein method which is a comprehensive approach encompassing theory and applied systems that can be implemented in a variety of clinical and educational contexts. Tactile Instrumental Enrichment (Tactile IE) reintroduces IE through a multi-sensory approach which includes touch, motion and sound. This tactile-kinesthetic approach has proven especially successful for working with patients diagnosed with ADD/ADHD in addition to the visually impaired. It organizes the process of brain-hand interaction which dramatically enhances the learners’ cognitive processing.
