In March 2020, universities across the globe were faced with the challenge of pivoting at pace to online delivery due to the impact of the Covid-19 Global Pandemic. In the months that followed, institutions adopted a range of often novel approaches to the delivery of learning and teaching in response to national and local conditions, including mandated lockdowns, local restrictions and isolation requirements. This period of rapid development provided an opportunity to review the traditional legal education model, learning from the enforced changes and implementing the best of these in future delivery.

At Aston University, this period also coincided with the development and launch of an innovative undergraduate law degree in September 2021. In this webinar we will explore how we adapted our delivery to adopt a blended approach post-Covid, and in turn the opportunities this presented for delivery of the new law degree. We will also consider student engagement with and feedback on the new delivery model, and how this has influenced our ongoing development of the programme.
