Dr. Zigui CHEN
Dr. Zigui CHEN is a leading researcher in microbial evolution, bioinformatics, and molecular genomics. His work integrates big data analysis, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and multi-omics approaches to study human microbiome, virome, and emerging infectious diseases. His research focuses on how microbial communities interact with human health, including the role of HPV and oral microbiome in cancer, and the genomic evolution of respiratory pathogens like SARS-CoV-2 and influenza.
Dr. Dominik HEIDER
Dr. Dominik HEIDER is an expert in bioinformatics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in biomedicine. He studied Computer Science at the University of Muenster and completed his PhD in Tumor Biology and Bioinformatics. He has held various academic positions, including at the University of Duisburg-Essen, TUM Campus Straubing, and the University of Marburg.
Dr. Sishuo WANG
Dr. Sishuo WANG specializes in microbial genomics, phylogenetics, and host-microbe interactions. His research focuses on pathogen evolution, phylogenetic analysis, and computational models for studying microbial evolution. He has received multiple prestigious awards.

本課程由香港中文大學(CUHK)醫學院微生物學系主辦,旨在為研究人員、臨床醫生及學生提供微生物基因組學、次世代定序(NGS)及人工智能(AI)在生物醫學研究中的應用之理論知識與實踐技能。
課程內容涵蓋生物資訊學工具、微生物組分析、分子進化、人工智能於微生物學之應用,並透過實際案例分析及電腦實作幫助學員掌握前沿技術。
