香港中文大學（中大）將舉行一系列公開講座，主題圍繞中大 2019年推出的四個新本科課程：中國研究 (JS4136)、教育學士（幼兒教育）(JS4372)、人工智能：系統與科技 (JS4468) 及數據科學與政策研究 (JS4893)。

講座特別為中學生、老師及家長而設，旨在協助同學探索最切合他們才能和興趣的中大本科課程。
大會於講座後設有茶點招待，歡迎同學與講者及中大學生交流。

第一場公開講座 The China Puzzle 將於2018年12月13日(四) 舉行。講座由中國研究課程提供。

The China Puzzle

摘要：
Every nation wants its citizens to be patriotic, and every nation uses its public school system to teach an ideal version of national history designed to awaken pride. But how close to reality is that ideal? And who decides? In reality, China is a great puzzle: a vast space with more languages and more regional cultures than Europe, and a long history during which its boundaries never stop changing. Will the “real China” please stand up? There is a relationship between its past and its present, but what is it? There are great differences between North and South, East and West, but what are they? This talk will show why these are all urgent questions that require professional answers from specialists in history, law, economy, and society. It will do so by looking at a series of “China puzzles”.
