講座摘要：

“What is Geriatric Medicine?” is a question that geriatricians are often asked about. To me, the best simple answer is “Jack of all trades” from late Professor Peter Millard at St George’s Hospital, UK, where I was trained in Geriatric Medicine. Another analogy that he used to describe our expertise was “Goldilocks and the three bears”. Another charismatic geriatrician over there, Michael Whitelaw, taught me the spirit of multidisciplinary team by handing over his stethoscope to a physiotherapist to examine the patient’s chest.
