Professor He Jun from Fudan University Delivers Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History 2019
To further cultural exchange and historical studies, Chung Chi College and New Asia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) came together in 2007 to establish the “Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History” which has been co-organised with the CUHK Department of History. This year, we have the honour to have Professor He Jun, Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Advisor, from the School of Philosophy, Fudan University as the guest lecturer to deliver the following two public lectures under the main theme “The Opening of Neo-Confucianism (Lixue) in the Song Dynasty” in Hong Kong. All are welcome and the details are as follows:
First Lecture: Reshaping the Doctrine and Shelving the Classic — Dan Zhu’s Studies of the Spring and Autumn Annals (Chunqiu) as an Example
