Latest arrangements for CUHK’s graduation ceremonies

14 Nov 2024

After typhoon signal No. 8 was cancelled this morning (14 November), CUHK immediately commissioned a registered structural engineer to inspect the large marquee set up at the University Mall. It was confirmed that the marquee remains safe and stable for use after the typhoon.

Taking into account various factors including venue safety, and after consulting the Colleges, the University has decided to reschedule today’s congregation and six college graduation ceremonies to Sunday, 17 November.

All graduates who have registered to attend the University’s congregation on 14 November can use today’s e-ticket to attend the rescheduled congregation at the University Mall.

Depending on the seating availability at the University Mall on the day, registered family and friends may also attend the congregation using today’s e-ticket on a first-come, first-served basis. Family and friends who are unable to enter the University Mall can watch a live broadcast of the congregation at the originally arranged live viewing venues.
