Dr Leung Chun-ying Lectures at The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Dr the Honourable Leung Chun-ying, convenor, non-official members of the Executive Council, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, shared his views on ‘Setting Vision, Reconciling Differences and Forging Consensus–The Responsibilities of Political Leaders’with some 1,400 students at an Assembly of Shaw College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) today (12 November).
The lecture is part of the General Education Programme of the Shaw College, which aims to enrich and broaden the exposure of students as well as to encourage personal and intellectual contact between students and teachers across all the academic disciplines. To strengthen its General Education Programme, the Shaw College has been inviting specialists of different professions to share their expertise and life experience with its students. The Chief Executive, the Honourable Donald Tsang; Chief Secretary for Administration, the Honourable Henry Tang Ying-yen; Financial Secretary, the Honourable John Tsang Chun-wah; and Secretary for Justice, the Honourable Wong Yan-lung, SC, had shared their views on leadership in previous lectures. Other speakers included Mr. Dick Lee, former Commissioner of Police of HKSAR who lectured on ‘Smooth on the surface, firm at heart—The Art of Leadership’and Dr Lee Lok-sze who spoke on the issue of global warming, etc.
