CUHK holds National Day flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) today held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Starting at 10:30am on National Day, the national flag was raised alongside the HKSAR flag and the CUHK flag, accompanied by a rendition of the national anthem.
More than 400 guests attended the flag-raising ceremony. They included CUHK’s Chairman of the University Council Professor John Chai Yat-Chiu, Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Rocky S. Tuan, the University’s senior management team, and representatives from Colleges, Faculties, joint laboratories, research institutes and centres, as well as staff, students and alumni.
