CUHK holds flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
The ceremony started at 10:30am at CUHK’s flagpoles. The national flag was raised alongside the HKSAR flag and the CUHK flag to a rendition of the national anthem.
Around 180 guests, including CUHK’s Council Chairman Professor John Chai Yat-Chiu, Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Rocky S. Tuan, the University’s senior management team, and representatives from Colleges, Faculties, joint laboratories, research institutes and centres, as well as staff, students and alumni, attended the flag-raising ceremony.
