The examinations of the four core subjects of the 2020 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) will be held between 27 April and 5 May. During these days, a large number of candidates will travel to the examination venues by public transport between 7 am to 8 am.

In view of this, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) announces that various departments/units will continue to adopt flexible work arrangements during this period. This aims to help reduce the peak-hour passenger flow and enable the candidates to reach examination venues on time, as well as to reduce the risk of infection from viruses.

The University has communicated with the heads of various departments/units, urging them to allow flexible working hours according to actual needs, and discuss with their staff on the arrangements for working in office or working from home.
