CUHK Appoints University Bursar

The Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has approved the appointment of Mrs. Salome Chan as Bursar of the University with effect from today (1 August), succeeding Mr. Terence Chan who retired on the same day. Mrs. Chan will be responsible for overseeing the financial administration, budgets, fund investments, accounting operations, and the business functions of the University.
Mrs. Salome Chan joined the University in 1990. Mrs. Chan is well experienced in budgetary control, resources management and strategic financial planning. Mrs. Chan will lead the Bursary functions with good continuity and accountability for an increased capacity to meet new challenges.
