CUHK ranks number one in Hong Kong in the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Global Universities Rankings twice in a row

CUHK ranks 42nd in the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Global Universities Rankings 2024-2025, and has been ranked number one in Hong Kong two times in a row. Eight of its subjects rank among the top 50 in the world. Education and Educational Research, and Gastroenterology and Hepatology rank third in the world. This encouraging result demonstrates the University’s unwavering efforts to pursue excellence, and reflects growing recognition of CUHK’s international influence. CUHK will continue striving to maintain high quality teaching and research standards and contribute to global well-being.
