According to the Chinese zodiac, 2016 is the year of the Monkey. To welcome the Lunar New Year, the Art Museum, CUHK presents the exhibition, “Witty Monkeys in Chinese Culture: Celebrating the Year of the Monkey”. Staging exhibits from the Han dynasty to modern China, this special exhibition vividly illustrates the manifold representations of monkeys in Chinese culture.
