Synopsis of Lecture:

Taiwanese composer Jan Tien-hao is no stranger to the Chinese choral community. His signature blend of words and music, surrounded by an aura of innocence and honesty, is rare among contemporary Chinese choral repertoire. With a careful selection of music, CU Chorus presents The Music of Jan Tien-hao with a dash of freshness from the pearl island. Dream Catcher, Jan’s world premiere commissioned for the CU Chorus, will be performed, allowing the audience to depict Dai Wangshu’s writing through Jan’s musical inspiration.
