From high-class estate advertisements, travel, and investment promotion to cultural policy and social integration, you can catch the traces of “art”. Nowadays, art has become an extremely multi-use buzzword, as if it is a panacea that can solve any problem. After all, contemporary art as a movement is committed to liberating art from the palace of culture, becoming a popular culture, constructing a fragmented and colorful multiverse of art. Using the key words of contemporary art as a breakthrough, this talk aims to discuss the various current situations of the art and its market, and explain the meaning and value behind “art”.
Remarks: Conducted in Cantonese
