In this lecture, the entrepreneurial journey of Ningbo-born businessmen, such as Hong Kong’s Lee Group, are used as examples to explore the ventures of Ningbo merchants into overseas markets. Based on an examination of the characteristics of these enterprises, an analysis is made of the role and contributions of Chinese enterprises in the process of institutionalizing high-quality joint development under the “Belt and Road” Initiative.
