This talk will present an overview of the world’s energy situation and the critical problems that we are facing today. Options to possibly deal with the challenges ahead, and the expected implications for the way we live, will be discussed. The talk will also highlight some of the technologies that scientists and engineers are currently working on to address the energy problems.
