Creating social impact is one of the common goals for academia and NGO practitioners. Scholars, researchers and NGO practitioners engage themselves in different research and projects so as to address the needs of society. Programme evaluation and social impact assessment are crucial processes in visualising the effectiveness and social implications of the project.
In light of this, it is our great pleasure to share with you that with the funding support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the CUHK-Nankai Joint Research Centre of Social Policy and the Department of Social Work of the Chinese University of Hong Kong will co-organise a two-day online International Conference on ‘Programme Evaluation and Social Impact Assessment’ on 21-22 October 2021, with the aim of providing scholars from all over the world and local NGO practitioners with a platform to share and promote their research and experience in programme evaluation and social impact assessment. During the two-day conference, we will have keynote presentations, plenary sessions and parallel sessions.
