Event Details:

How do we choose where to live? What are the key ingredients for creating a sustainable city that caters for the needs of people and what role does cultural identity play?

In this luncheon talk, Prof. Maggie Hu will present her research findings in Sydney on how culture is intertwined with Asian immigrants’ property investments in the globalised world. She will share how our cultural identities affect almost all of our choices in life, including where we live and our investment decisions.

Mr. Clement Lau will share his insights on human-centred urban planning with real-life examples, and how to develop a livable city where people can move around and gain access to services conveniently, while enjoying the heritage and history of the city.
