In celebration of its 60th Anniversary, Chung Chi College, will organize the Popular Science Essay and Poster Competition, which aims at increasing the knowledge and interest of students and public on the relationship between humanities, technology and sciences. It also aims at enhancing the awareness towards the importance of writing and presentation skills among students, especially science students. The competition will be divided into two divisions, the Secondary School Division and the University Division. Participants will write an essay, design a poster based on the content of the essay, and also make a short presentation. Participants are encouraged to submit their application forms by June 30, 2011, while the deadline for entry submission is September 9, 2011. The first round screening will be held on November 5 and November 12 respectively, while the final competition will be held on November 26.
