Clarifications

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has recently been made aware of emails circulating, purportedly sent by the “世界現代化工廠制度（香港）研究協會\香港制研會 建設單位” (“Sender”). These emails falsely claimed that CUHK, CUHK Vice-Chancellor and President, and the former CUHK Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Rocky S. Tuan have been listed as candidates for various organisations.

CUHK hereby clarifies that the University, its Vice-Chancellor and President, and Professor Rocky S. Tuan, have no affiliation or involvement with the Sender or the related organisations.

The CUHK community and the public at large are hereby warned against any dealings with the Sender and/or related organisations. CUHK reserves the right to hold the relevant parties legally responsible.
