CUHK expresses its condolences for the passing of a student on campus
Yesterday (12 October 2023), a year one male student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) tragically passed away on campus.
The University is deeply saddened by the passing of the student and is providing support to staff, students, and the family of the deceased student.
CUHK expresses its deep condolences to the deceased’s family, friends and academic community.
The University is cooperating with the Hong Kong Police Force and relevant authorities to assist with their enquiries concerning the deceased student’s death.
Out of respect for the privacy of the deceased student’s family, the University will not be providing any further comment.
