CUHK holds a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 61st Foundation Day.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was founded on 17 October 1963. The University held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate its 61st Foundation Day today.

The event commenced at 8:30am at CUHK’s flag-hoisting platform, where the CUHK’s Student Flag Guards conducted the ceremony. The national flag was raised alongside the HKSAR flag and the CUHK flag, accompanied by a rendition of the national anthem.

The ceremony was attended by Council members, the University’s senior management, representatives from Colleges and Faculties, staff, students and alumni of the University, and other guests.
