    In view of the extreme conditions caused by extensive flooding and serious traffic disruption, owing to torrential rain, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) announced that all classes will be suspended for the whole day.

    In response to the Government’s appeal, all department / unit heads should adopt a sympathetic and flexible work arrangement and give due consideration to the safety of employees and the feasibility of travelling from home to place of work.

    Under the “extreme conditions” notice, all bus services/paid shuttle light bus service on campus will be suspended and will resume operation on a limited basis one hour after the said warning signal(s)/notice are cancelled, unless the situation does not permit.
