The Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease will launch its annual “Christmas Charity Sale” in the end of this year. The event will raise fund for the foundation to provide appropriate services for dementia patients, their families and caregivers.

I‧CARE Centre for Whole-person Development is now assisting the Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease to recruit volunteers providing on-site support for the charity sale. Details are as follows:

Period: 29 November to 29 December 2019
Time: Three time slots, each of them requires three to four volunteers –
　　　11:45 am – 2:30 pm
　　　2:30 – 5:30pm
　　　5:30 – 8:15pm
Venue: Level G, Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong

Responsibility:
i. To draw passerbys to the charity sale booth
ii. To receive customers and answer enquiries
iii. To assist in maintaining sales records
Requirement:
i. Full-time/ part-time undergraduate/ postgraduate students; full-time/ part-time/ retired staff; alumni
ii. Able to work for at least one time slot
iii. Fluent in Cantonese and English
