CUHK announces cancellation of evening classes today (8 October)

As public transport services are being seriously affected, and MTR stations will be closed at 8:00 pm today, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) announces that all evening classes scheduled to start at 6:30 pm and after will be cancelled today (8 October). Students may contact the respective Faculty/Department for further details.
The University will operate as normal today. However, due to the disruption of transport services, the University has asked all unit heads and teachers to exercise flexibility when handling the attendance or punctuality of individual students or staff members due to traffic problems.
