Prof. Michel Bonnin

Biography of Speaker:

Prof. Michel Bonnin – Professor at the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, France and Visiting Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, joined the 1968 Student Revolt in France during his school days. He then came to Hong Kong to engage in academic research on rustication of China’s educated youth and on social and political issues of modern China. Prof. Bonnin’s publications include, inter alia, “The Lost Generation – The Rustication of China’s Educated Youth (1968-1980)”.
