Synopsis of Lecture:

Over 40 speakers from some of the world’s leading universities will present papers on political economic problems arising in financial regulation. Topics addressed range from market power in globally linked financial markets to lobby influence over policymakers and regulators to ideological bias in the formulation of legal frameworks and structural flaws inherent in the rule of law itself.
