Event Details:

Housing price and rent have been increasing substantially in recent years to a severely unaffordable level in Hong Kong, and there are more than 70,000 households living in sub-divided housing units. Young couples have to defer marriage or ask parents for financial support to make downpayment for home buying. However, different stakeholders have different views on the housing problems. The forum aims to provide an impartial platform for different stakeholders to deliberate their viewpoints and propose solutions. They include representatives from the government, professional institutions, non-government organization and academics.
