Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is a kind of abnormal heart rhythm which can lead to stroke. The prevalence of AF grows with the ageing population. Faculty of Medicine, CUHK estimates that nearly 60,000 older people in Hong Kong are suffering from AF without knowing. CUHK will conduct two AF screening days on campus to provide basic electrocardiography (ECG) check, and raise the awareness towards AF among the public.
