Synopsis of Lecture:

Do diseases merely cause suffering of the human body? Do patients always feel grateful to doctors who “cure” their medical illness? If not, why? Is there something more important than life? Is technology sufficient to save life and dignity of human being? Why medical doctors and nurses felt down-hearted these days? What is missing in modern day medicine? … Is Medicine a Science or an Art? Graduated from medical school for 30 years, Joseph Sung will share with you how he sees meaning of living, how patients reflect to him what is important, what SARS has taught him and other medical professionals, and how we should face life and death.
