Synopsis of Lecture:

The prostate, a small yet critical organ in the male urinary tract, has long been the focus of medical research and innovation. Despite its diminutive size, the prostate can have a significant impact on the lives of middle-aged and older adults, particularly when afflicted by the increasingly prevalent issue of prostate cancer. Recognizing this emerging health challenge, Ng Chi Fai Anthony, and his team at the CUHK have dedicated their efforts to enhancing the knowledge and care surrounding prostate cancer.

In the face of a growing prostate cancer burden, Anthony and the CUHK urology team’s small but impactful contributions have had a profound impact on improving the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of this condition. Their dedication to leveraging innovative approaches and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration serves as a testament to the power of small acts in driving meaningful change and alleviating the suffering of prostate cancer patients and their families.
