Event Details:

Blue-and-green landscape painting is a traditional technique with fine brushwork and mineral pigments. It can be divided into light blue-and-green and heavy blue-and-green. The former is thin and light in color, while the latter is heavy and colorful. Paintings using natural mineral pigments have been last for a long time. Painters nowadays use this traditional technique to develop their works on different subjects.

In this workshop, the technique of outlining, stroking, dyeing and coloring application will be taught through a light blue-and-green landscape painting. Participants will finish the painting with a round fan and bring this own Peach Blossom Garden to everywhere.

All undergraduates are welcome (NA students are given priority)!
