New Asia Chinese Music Society and New Asia College

Introduction of the New Asia Chinese Music Society:
The New Asia Chinese Music Society was established in 1960. Our aims are “learning and promoting Chinese Music”, and “cultivate benevolence from playing music”. For on-campus activities, the Society regularly holds traditional Chinese music training classes, which aims to cultivate students’ interests and performance skills. Besides, we organize different Chinese music concerts to promote members’ communication and Chinese music culture. Externally, the Society often represents CUHK or New Asia College to perform Chinese music in various events.

Through organizing this series of concerts, we hope to not only allow the public to appreciate Chinese music, but also provide interactive activities for the audience to experience the joy of Chinese music.
