CUHK First ‘Executive Leadership Programme in Global Finance’ Successfully Launched
The first ‘Executive Leadership Programme in Global Finance’ launched by the Institute of Global Economics and Finance (IGEF) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) today ended with success. Over ten international star lecturers shared insights on various important topics such as the latest global economic development, the international monetary system, renminbi as an international currency, asset price bubbles, and financial derivatives and leverage over the six-day programme, offering customized professional training for the financial sector. Apart from senior executives in the industry, there were also senior officials of China Banking Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission and The People’s Bank of China; senior executives of Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Central Bank of Malaysia, Hong Kong Monetary Authority and The Securities and Futures Commission among the over 30-plus participants of the programme. They all seized the golden opportunity to share experience and had a fruitful interaction with the renowned economists. They further complimented the programme for bringing them great benefits by broadening their vision and perspectives.
