CUHK Announces Class Suspension and Close of Offices Tomorrow

Severe Typhoon Mangkhut has caused fallen trees in various locations in the campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), resulting in road blockages which restrict roads access. To ensure the safety of students and staff, and considering the time required for clearance work when it is safe to do so, all classes will be suspended tomorrow (17 September). All offices will be closed and staff do not need to report to work tomorrow unless it is necessary and safe to do so. The University wishes all students and staff to stay safe and well under these adverse weather conditions.
